(Marcus)
Best In Show Specialty, Multi Best In Show All Breeds & Multiple Best in Group Winner
3 years old, middle size male, strong bone with strong round feet, excellent bite, excellent nose and head proportions, muzzle. Elegant neck, strong topline, excellent tail set, excellent front, very good angulations, moves powerfully with an excellent temperament.
Jessica Brzezinski Von JessBox Boxers – Serbia
Sire: Supreme Ch Kesdar Kindred Spirit
Dam: Ch Kesdar Risky Romance
DOB: 11 May 2021
Marcus has had a super 2024 to date – winning FOUR fantastic All Breeds BEST IN SHOWS. The first at The Classic 70th Anniversary Championship Show over a strong line up of dogs. And then BEST IN SHOW at the Dogs Vic Easter Festival Followed by BEST IN SHOW at the Victorian Poultry & Kennel Club Plus claiming multi Best in Groups and Runner up in Groups in the first half of 2024! He added his fourth BEST IN SHOW All Breeds in October ! The boy is certainly on a roll!
To top of the 2024 year with a bang Marcus won BEST IN SHOW – Boxer Association of Victoria Championship Show 2024 under Breed Specialist Jessica Brzezinski Von JessBox Boxers, Serbia. Marcus won Reserve Challenge Dog the year before under Mr Shharat Sharma (India) following on from his Best Junior in Show in 2022 under Ms Lynn Mair (UK) Glenauld Boxers.
Well what can we say about Marcus! He is the naughtiest pup we have ever bred and at the same time the most loveable. His antics outside the ring, where he thinks nothing of leaping up above my head and doing a back flip, are matched by his winning exploits inside the ring where he seems to pull it all together just in time to win over the judges.
He is an exciting young dog to watch on the move. He glides across the surface with beautiful reach and drive that sees him cover the ground with ease.
Judges love him too! Already a multi Best in Show All Breeds (entry in excess of 700 dogs) multi Group 1 & Group 2 winner and with multiple Class in Groups and Class in Show wins to his name he steps out and brings home a win every time he enters the ring. We cannot wait to see how this youngster matures but right now we are enjoying the ride he is taking us on.
Marcus is proven at stud. He has produced fawns and brindles and his baby daughter, Kesdar Ode To Winter (Soli) will debut late 2024! Frozen Semen available.

At just 6 months of age she joined the big kids for the very first time at the Boxer Association of Victoria Championship Show October 2024 winning a fantastic BEST PUPPY IN SHOW under our world renowned judge, Jessica Brzezinski, Von JessBox Boxers. Her critique of Indi speaks volumes …
6 months old, very promising elegant baby female with wonderful head proportions and feminine expression, excellent nostrils, excellent pigmentation, narrow clean head, elegant neck, beautiful shoulder angulations, excellent strong topline, excellent tail and carriage, beautiful silhouette, lots of temperament on the move, a puppy I would love to take home. (Tilly)
Multiple Class in Show & Class In Group Wins!
Sire: Sup Ch Milmac Tom Ford GTHO
Dam: Ch Kesdar Ma Cherie
DOB: 13 June 2023
Meet Tilly, Ch Rampid The Countess of Kesdar … A very special girl that brings together Kesdar and Rampid Boxers in an exciting collaboration.
Tilly claimed her title in style winning over Champion competition proving herself a worthy title contender.
Tilly is a granddaughter of both Mr Deeks, Ch Kesdar Red Hot Rumour and Hunter, Supreme Champion Kesdar Kindred Spirit.
Tilly debuted with a Baby in Show and has multiple class inb show wins across Bab y, Minor and Puppy classes. Plus some super Challenge wins over Champion dogs taking her well on her way to her title.
Tilly moves around the ring with power and grace just like her grandsire Mr Deeks in his prime. Still very much a junior, she has attracted great wins along with praise from ringside as she struts her stuff, tail wagging as she goes. Watch out for Tilly as she matures into what we know will be a stunning Boxer girl.

(Hunter)
Multi Best in Show and Multi Runner Up In Show All Breeds winner
Sire: Ch Lambda Don’t Ask Don’t Tell
Dam: Ch Kesdar Wings Of An Angel
DOB: 11 March 2019
Hunter is now taking a break from the show ring while we campaign his top winning son, Marcus, Champion Kesdar Fifty Shades Darker at Tonmar.
What can we say about Hunter? He has thrilled us with his ring presence and along the way garnered quite a following amongst fellow Boxer exhibitors. Titled at just 9 months winning Group 1 (Best in Group) to seal his points. Hunter goes back to our beautiful Biscuit, Ch Kesdar Just A Rumour on one side and the equally gorgeous Rebel, Ch Kesdar Heaven Sent on the other side. A very special combination. Hunter turns heads wherever he goes and no doubt has an exciting future ahead. Now in his prime he is an impressive dog on the move and on the stack – truely a Supreme Champion Boxer.
Hunter is one of Australia’s top winning Boxer dogs – he has won two Best in Show All Breeds (723 enties and 539 entries), multi Best Runner Up in Show (784 & 635 entries), Multi Best in Group and Runner up In Group winner. Back from our inforced two-year COVID break he has thrilled us with his showmanship and style in the ring.
His latest Best in Show win was under breed specialist, Elizabeth Gunter, Guntop Boxers. A very special win. With four Champion kids, Hunter is also proving to be a great sire. Hunter finished 2022 as the Top Boxer Show Dog 2022 – DogzOnline Pointscore.
During Easter 2023 Hunter gained the final points to be awarded his Supreme Champion Title. An impressive effort given Hunter missed two years of showing due to COVID and has only just turned four.
And what a sire Hunter is turning out to be! To date he has sired 6 Australian Champions. 3 Bitches and 3 dogs from 3 different kennels with more pointed towards their titles.
Hunter is DNA Tested and is Clear of DM and ARVC. Heart score 0/6.
Frozen semen available.

Multi class in Show Winner
Sire: Supreme Ch Kesdar Kindred Spirit
Dam: Ch Kesdar Shades of Summer
DOB: 18 April 2020
Milly, while still owned by Helen and Jen (Kesdar Boxers) made her way to our good friends Paul Cook and his daughter Kristen during the long Victorian COVID lockdowns. At 12 weeks we realised the best opportunity for Milly to be properly socialised was in South Australia where she had the opportunity to be out and about at local cafes, Bunnings, neighbourhood walks and the show ring.
Milly embraced the opportunity and with the love and care of the Cook family has grown into a beautiful, well-adjusted and now Champion bitch who made her mark in the show ring early.
Always piloted by her best friend, Kristen Cook, Milly won many Class in Group and Class in Show awards and has matured into a truly beautiful girl with outstanding movement.
Helen and I are forever grateful for the care and love Milly has been shown in her second home at the Cook’s where she remains to this day.
Exciting plans are a foot for Milly which we cannot wait to share!

Best in Show Specialty Winner
Sire: Street Boxers From Above (Imp Norway)

DOB: 21 September 2013
Now retired but we cannot bring ourselves to admit it!
Mr Deeks is an absolute sweetheart. He is all dog and a natural leader of the Kesdar pack with a gentle loving nature and stunning looks.
Deeks is a Best in Show Specialty winner and the sire of a Specialty in Show Winner, along with several Champions and a Supreme Champion. He is known for his easy but athletic, ground covering gait, featuring in breed lectures and articles on movement in Europe. Sparingly shown he occasionaly steps out at Breed Specialties.
But more than anything he has acheived in the Show Ring or as a dominant stud dog, Deeks is a wonderful companion with the heart and nature of a true Boxer.

(Murphy Brown)
The stunning young girl taking it all in her stride
Sire: Kesdar Mon Amie
Dam: Kesdar Spirit In The Sky
DOB: 22 August 2022
Murphy has now retired from the show ring and is enjoying life as a couch surfer and outdoor adventurer with her new family while we concentrate on the two baby girls, Frankie and Tilly alongside Marcus.
Murphy is an absolute character. She has the whole Kesdar team (human and dog) wrapped around her two front paws and she knows it! From day one she has mastered the show ring like she has done it all before. An absolute ratbag outside the ring she turns it on like a pro inside the ring loving the attention and applause that greets her performance.
Already taking a coveted Best Baby Puppy in Show and a Best Puppy in Show awards at large Melbourne shows she is an exciting bundle of energy and happiness. We are looking forward to seeing what the future may hold for young Murphy Brown.
Murphy Brown attracted some great results under International judges with Challenge points and Runner Up Best of Breeds or Class In Group and Class In Show awards from judges from Japan, South Africa, Phillipines and Indonesia! Murphy gained her title at the Mount Gambier October shows to become the 40th Kesdar Australian Champion and ended her show career on a high at the Sunbury Show under an International Panel with Bitch Challenge, Runner up Best of Breed and Best Junior in Group.

What can we say about Lexie! When we first discussed mating Crikket and Cody’s name came into the equation Paul Salnitro thought we were crazy! Both Crikket and Cody could almost be called hyperactive! No doubt the progeny were going to be a handfull! But Paul put his hand up for a pup anyway!
Sure enough Lexie is quite the handfull. But boy is she stylish and when under control an absolute picture to watch in the show ring. Gaining her title in a heartbeat we are sure there are more exciting times ahead for Lexie.

Kesdar Spirit in The Sky
(Misty)
Sire: Ch Lambda Don’t Ask Don’t Tell
Dam: Ch Kesdar Wings Of An Angel
DOB: 11 March 2019
Misty is a precious little girl with the sweetest temperament and a naughty streak she sneakily hides behind an angel expression as you can see by her photo taken when she was just a wee as puppy!
Overshadowed by her winning brother, Hunter, she pegged one back from him winning a lovely Best Minor Puppy in Show at the Victorian Boxer Specialty. Misty decided showing was just not her thing so she enjoys life at home teasing her brother and her Uncle Deeks with all the enthusiasm she can muster.
Misty is the dam of our gorgeous little ratbag – Murphy Brown. We hope to repeat the mating later this year (2023).

Ch Kesdar Red Rascal
(Bingle) Owned by Pauline & Leonie Ashton
Sire: Ch Kesdar Code Red
Dam: Ch Kesdar Crackling Rose
DOB: 5 August 2017
Where Lexie is plumb crazy, her litter brother, Bingle, is contained enthusiasm that bubbles away just beneath the surface and escapes in a whirlwind of happy energy every so often. I do not think I have ever seen his forever wagging tail held still!
Well known around the circuit as the king of the Boxer kissing booth Bingle is also a handsome cut of a dog with the same effortless movement that is the hallmark of a Kesdar Boxer. Like Lexie we firmly believe there are exciting times ahead for Bingle.

Ch Kesdar Wings of An Angel
(Mischief)
Sire: Street Boxers From Above (Imp Norway)
Dam: Ch Kesdar Heaven Sent
DOB: 18 April 2013
Best in Show Specialty Winner
Mischief was the most beauitful, loving Boxer girl you could ever wish to own or breed. An exceptional mover with a head that one well-known UK Boxer Specialist said is the type she would be describing if giving a lecture on the qualites of the Boxer headpiece.
Mischief won Best in Show at the Boxer Club of NSW Championship Show in 2016 over an entry of 206 Boxers. Making her the second of Arken’s progeny to claim a Best in Show Specialty win.
Mischief throughout her career claimed countless Group and Class awards particularly under Boxer specialists who recognised her true Boxer type.
Her daughter, Dash, Ch Kesdar Spirit Of The Dragon (AI) inherited her mothers wonderful reach and drive and zest for life.
Mischief leaves us with two very special babies in Hunter and Misty after tragically losing her life during a ceasarean. She remains forever in our hearts. We will never get over her loss.

(Dash)
Sire: Canadian Ch Papagenos Arany Sarkany
Dam: Ch Kesdar Wings Of An Angel
DOB: 15 December 2015
With a stunning sire and the beautiful Mischief as her dam, Dash was always going to have a promising future. She gained her title with ease in spite of competing against her very successful dam and along the way claimed lovely Group wins under Boxer specialists and all breed judges alike. Dash inherited her dams easy gait and elegance combined with an exhuberant outgoing temperament. She is now retired to a life of long walks and lazy afternoons on the couch.

A chip of the old block … Jackson, Grand Champion Kesdar Royal Ascot, Cody was a super show dog winning consistently under all breeds judges and Boxer specialists alike.

Our Norwegian Import – Arken
Street Boxer’s From Above (Imp Norway)
(Arken)
Sire: Totem Pole V Eurozone
Dam: Street Boxer’s Ourasi
DOB: 9 July 2009
Kesdar Boxers welcomed Arken, Street Boxers From Above (Imp Nwy) bringing him home from quarantine, quite fittingly, on Boxing Day 2009. Arken combines some of the finest English and European lines. His sire is Totem Pole V Eurozone from the wonderful Eurozone Kennels in Hungary. His Norwegian dam (Street Boxer’s Ourasi), carefully bred from the top English lines of Roamaro and Winuwuk.
A beautiful combination of strength and elegance with generations of consistency in head type, structure and temperament behind him.
Arken has brought to Kesdar the virtues of beautiful bone, pigmentation, wonderful free and easy gait and super temperaments.
Arken has sired two Best in Show Specialty winning progeny for Kesdar in Deeks, Ch Kesdar Red Hot Rumour and Mischief, Ch Kesdar Wings Of An Angel, amongst other Champions.
Our young star Hunter has Arken on both sides of his pedigree through his dam Mischief and granddam, Rumour, Ch Kesdar Reckless Rumour (Mr Deeks’ sister).
The video on the left is of Arken at 16 weeks just prior to making the long trip from his home town, Tonsberg in Norway to Australia.

(Biscuit)
Sire: Ch Tonmar Just Do It
Dam: Ch Kesdar Standing Ovation
July 2008 – August 2017
Biscuit … words fail us when it comes to describing this most beautiful of Boxers. Biscuit was, is, Jen’s heart dog. An absolute show dog from the day she stood up on all fours. But so much more than that, Biscuit was the happiest, most joyful and loving companion you could ever hope to share a moment of your life with.
Biscuit’s two most impressive wins were at National level where she won back to back Reserve Challenges (a feat that to date has not been surpassed) with the Boxer entry exceeding 200 at each show.
Not only a wonderful show dog and companion Biscuit produced three Champions from her first litter with her son, Mr Deeks, a Best in Show Specialty winner.
Forever missed, forever in our hearts, We have a little piece of her back with us once more in the guise of her grandson, Hunter, who is the image of her in so many ways.
Ch Kesdar Heaven Sent
(Rebel)
Sire: Ch Tonmar Just Do It
Dam: Kesdar Affair T’ Remember
November 2007 – February 2018
With a small brindle heart-shaped marking on her white chest directly over her own heart, fire in her eyes, and absolute pride in herself, Rebel was an amazing mix of loving pet and look at me ring presence.
From her very first outing when she won a Baby Puppy in Group she always caught the judge’s eye. She won a fantastic 5 Puppy in Shows in a row in August 2008 including Puppy in Show at the Boxer Association of Victoria Championship Show, The Utility Dog Club of Victoria Championship Show, Lillydale Pot of Gold Championship Show and two wins at Hamilton Kennel Club. A start to a stella show career that included Royal Challenges and national class wins.
Rebel is the dam of Mischief, Ch Kesdar Wings Of An Angel, a Best in Show Specialty winner and granddam of the new kid on the block, Hunter, Kesdar Kindred Spirit.
Rebel maintained her fire and leadership of the Kesdar clan right up until the end and is sorely missed here at Kesdar. We are sure she is out there somewhere with her half sister, Biscuit in the tall green grasses of forever still with that wicked glint in her eye.
Ch Kesdar Dream A Little Dream
(Scout)
Sire: Ch Tonmar Just Do It
Dam: Ch Kesdar Standing Ovation
December 2009
Scout possessed the same dynamic, naughty and mischievous nature as her big sister Biscuit and mum Nikki. If there was ever trouble she would find it! But she did behave just long enough to impress the judges and that made persevering with her in the show ring worthwhile. Scout notched up an impressive list of wins from limited showing including Best Puppy in Show BAOV Champ Show 2010, Puppy of Breed Royal Melbourne Show 2010, Runner Up Best of Breed Royal Melbourne Show 2011 along with multiple Best of Breed, Group and In-Show awards to her name.
Scout is the dam of Ch Kesdar Code Red and is now living the easy life with her son where she is very much loved and part of the family – even if she still has that naughty streak!
Ch Kesdar Crackling Rose
(Crikket)
Sire: Ch Kesdar Red Hot Rumour
Dam: Ch Kesdar Dream A Little Dream
October 2014
What can we say about Crikket? Crikket is an almost carbon copy of her dam, Scout and granddam, Nikki. The three are peas in a pod! Almost … where Nikki and Scout had that little bit of fire when it came to asserting themselves, Crikket just exhibits pure joy and enthusiasm – in bucket loads!
I wonderful but excitable dog to handle she never once lost her ability to behave like an over excited baby puppy whenever a judge greeted her. Known for her elegance and beautiful movement she often did the double alongside her dad, Mr Deeks. A site to see with the two beautifully moving dogs competing for breed honours. Titled as a junior shortly after claiming Best Puppy in Show at the Boxer Association of Victoria Championship Show Crikket was only shown lightly but to great success.
Crikket is the dam of Lexie, Ch Kesdar Risky Romance.
Ch Kesdar Archangel
(Rannei)
Sire: Street Boxer’s From Above (Imp Norway)
Dam: Ch Kesdar Standing Ovation
September 2010
Rannei is an old Nordic name meaning power and strength of the house and Rannei has lived up to her name in more ways than one. She loves nothing more than having a cool drink in town at an outdoor cafe greeting everyone that passes and long walks with her best mate, Peter.
Rannei, like her dad, was very slow to mature but with early wins like a Baby in Show under a Boxer Specialist and top placings at Boxer Specialty shows she impressed with strong wins in good company claiming her title with her friend Sherran Howlett piloting her to many of her wins.
Rannei has produced three champions all sired by Mr Deeks (Ch Kesdar Red Hot Rumour). Her three champion kids are Ch Kesdar Cracklin Rose, Ch Kesdar Checkmate and Ch Kesdar Catch Me If You Can. Rannei lives with very good friends Margot and Peter and has recently survived a life threatening case of bloat. She remains healthy and very much loved, a special girl.
Grand Ch Kesdar Royal Ascot
(Jackson)
Sire: Ch Kesdar Riding High
Dam: Ch Kesdar Canterbury Tails
June 2006 – November 2018
Jackson was a real show-off who enjoyed being the centre of attention, his ring presence was reminiscent of his mother, Champion Kesdar Canterbury Tales DOM, while his beautiful strength and bone were attributes he inherited from his Best in Show Specialty winning sire, Champion Kesdar Riding High SOM.
A consistent Challenge and Breed Winner Jackson enjoyed great success in 2011 taking out multiple Best of Breed and Group awards to claim his Grand Champion title in style and then retired to a life on the couch with his gorgeous daughter Lizzie.
One of Jackson’s favourite experiences was partnering Junior Handlers where he proved his temperament by always being the perfect gentleman!
Jackson’s career highlights included Best of Breed Royal melbourne Show 2009, Challenge Dog Adelaide Royal 2009 and Reserve challenge dog (to his sire) Boxer Association of Victoria Championship Show 2009. Jackson is the sire of Cody, Champion Kesdar Code Red.
Ch Kesdar Standing Ovation
(Nikki)
Sire: Grand Ch Phoenix Harrison Ford
Dam: Tekrista First Edition
August 2005 – February 2017
Nikki brought joy with her antics and love with her fierce devotion. Always high spirited she left no doubt of her presence whether at home with the pack or in the show ring. Nikki was the constant companion of her older brother, Fletcher (Ch Kesdar Riding High), their mutual respect and love of each other beautiful to watch. Nikki did put Fletcher in his place every now and again.
The dam of five champions, Ch Kesdar Just A Rumour, Ch Kesdar Just A Joker JD, Ch Kesdar Dream A Little Dream, Ch Kesdar Just Dreamin RN and Ch Kesdar Archangel and grand-dam of many more Champions.
Dam of Kesdar Just A Legend JD AD. Nikki’s kids mixed beauty with spirit and brains!
Nikki’s legacy will live on here at Kesdar and in our hearts forever.
Grand Ch Kesdar High Society
(Kelly)
Sire: NZ Grand Ch & Grand Ch Valeska Lockup Ya Daughters
Dam: Ch Kesdar Canterbury Tails
March 2004 – February 2018
Best in Show Specialty, Runner Up In Show Specialty & Runner Up in Show All Breeds Winner
What can we say about our girl Kelly? Leaving us just shy of her 14th Birthday has left an enourmous emptiness that no amount of licks from our Boxer family can heal. A once in a lifetime girl who blessed us with her spirit, her love and her personality.
A Grand Champion of the highest order who adored Junior handlers and what a team she made with a very young Clare Richards (Tyler) as Clare won the National Junior Final.
Kelly won Best in Show at the Boxer Association of Victoria Championship Show under breed specialist Ferelith Sommerfield, and multi Best of Breeds when the numbers of Boxers being shown was always up over 50 at any given weekend, including Royal Challenges and two Runner Up Best in Show awards.
But she was in her element when retired from the show ring as our companion and baby sitter for each and every Kesdar litter. During those happy carefree years she showcased her beautiful Boxer temperament and stamped her character on each and every puppy. Her presence still resonates in the odd action or look in our current dogs eyes. She will always be our Kelly girl.

Sire: Grand Ch Phoenix Harrison Ford

June 2004 – May 2017
Best in Show Specialty & Runner Up In Show Specialty Winner
A sire of merit, producing 7 Champions for 6 different kennels, a Best in Show Specialty Winner, A Runner Up In Show Specialty winner over an entry of 200 plus Boxers. A Third in Group and Best of Breed at Adelaide Royal and countless Challenge points to his name. In Show critiques he was called a Stallion of a Dog, an Adonis, a Powerhouse on the Move but in our hearts and here at home at Winslow he was just our Fletchy … a Loyal, dependable and frustratingly stubborn he was our best mate and pushy friend.
We will let this wonderful critique sum him up …
“My Dog Challenge and Runner Up Best In Show winner came from the Open Class Champion Kesdar Riding High, owned and bred by Davis and Keele. This was a six year old R/W stallion of a dog who oozed ring presence, stood foresquare on strong limbs. Dry clean head with a keen expression just the right amount of wrinkle when alert, correct eye shape, good stop and tilt of nose with evident chin and wide bite. When I ran my hands down his smooth yet muscular neck I got a sense of a powerhouse of a male, true front with width and depth and excellent spring of rib, well defined withers leading to a gentle slope of topline, good tailset with plenty of rear behind it. Strong quarters, excellent second thigh, when put to the task of moving all his body parts made moving effortless, when returning to me he finished with a perfect free stand and air of nobility.”
